Hey everyone, I'm Liz, and I'd like to welcome you to my new blog Kitschy-Kitty. You can probably gather from the name that I love slightly-tacky vintage, and cats. You can expect to see lots of my crafts and tutorials, my latest thrift store finds, pictures of my kitty, inspiring things, and day-to-day musings about life as a college student here.

I should warn you that I am a bit of a craft harlot.  My passion is crochet, but recently I have been taken with that other yarn craft...knitting.  When I'm not messing with yarn, I dabble with, oh, just about any craft...embroidery, sewing, jewelry-making, scrapbooking, and so on.  I am completely self-taught, and I love a new challenge.

In addition to crafts, I love hunting for good deals and vintage treasures.  You never know what you're going to find, so it's always a new adventure. I get especially excited when I find good vinyl records, anything vintage disney, and items with cute kitties on them.

If the above interests you, I really hope you will stick around.  I'm excited to try and grow this blog into something fun and inspiring for you all!
